Forensic Testing Apparatus

All three bases in which I operate at have their own equipment for forensic scientists to apply. This apparatus is located in the forensics laboratory at the Roswell base, the primary base of operations.

These test tubes, whose caps and stoppers are colour-coded (for example, red caps and stoppers indicate that the corresponding test tubes are to hold collected blood and other bodily tissues and fluids), contain important solutions required for DNA extraction (such as the lysis buffer and protease), genetic fingerprinting, and other experiments involving the application of genetics in the forensic-science spectrum, including ribotyping.

My own applications of such equipment have resulted in outlandish but colourful images, such as this false-colour karyotype of my 50 chromosomes (modified version drawn in PSP9)[link] and this image of neural activity taken from a personal brain scan [link]
