Okinawa at Twilight

During my mandatory business-trip to Okinawa, Taro Ogawa decided to take three days off-duty prior to his return to the West APR for his own business conference. I arrived in Naha, Okinawa at about 16:35 and in Nago at exactly 18:00. A rainstorm had recently cleared the skies, so I was in the mood to photograph the troposphere as the clouds retreated.

Note the spectral arc and the moon (which appears as a minute white speck) amidst the twilight skies. Full view recommended!

This photograph was taken at the Takuwan Security Centre on Security Centre Drive, Nago, Okinawa-ken, Nihon (Japan), 19:23 on June 27, 2007.

As a footnote: I met Taro (often referred to as "Takuwan" as he founded the entire security corporation) and his co-founder Isamu Ohmae and trusty assistant Radon Shiraiki, both of whom hail from the Pallas Archipelago (which is basically the Cortex version of the Ryukyu Archipelago, which is Okinawa). Once Taro left for Yunaka, West APR, I thus took partial ownership of the premises.
